Massage Services
All massage services are scheduled with John Stark Master LMT, and are tailored to meet the specific needs of each client. John provides both in-office and home visit appointments, with session lengths ranging from 1 to 2.5 hours, and even extending to 3 hours. For massages exceeding 2 hours, John offers a discount and will provide a personalized quote, even if it is not listed on his pricing menu.
The human body operates like a finely tuned machine, composed of hundreds of muscles. When pain occurs, it disrupts the balance of muscles and fascia, leading to tension that can misalign our posture. Reducing this tension and retraining the muscles to perform optimally requires time, ensuring that body mechanics and movement are restored to their proper function.
I recommend that all my new clients schedule 1.5-hour sessions to thoroughly address specific problem areas. I am convinced that this duration provides sufficient time for a meaningful and effective massage. However, I also offer one-hour sessions for those who prefer a shorter option. For clients dealing with significant tension or pain, particularly if it has persisted over time, I advise considering a two-hour session for optimal relief.
John specializes in therapeutic and clinical level bodywork, advanced neuromuscular therapy, carpel tunnel, piriformis syndrome, SI Joint pain, TMJ, sciatica, frozen shoulder, lymph drainage (including after body contouring treatments, and cosmetic surgery), “The Lauterstein Method”, deep tissue, sports massage, myofasial release, therapeutic stretching, trigger point, swedish, massage to prepare the body for chiropractic treatment, massage for pain management, and after injury.

For house call appointments, John will bring all supplies needed, along with his portable table (we call the Caddillac of tables) which is an Earthlite Infinity table with Deluxe 3-Layer 3” Cushioning System for client comfort, and a specialized face cradle that is fully adjustable to each client’s posture, and has extra thick comfort padding. He uses all organic massage creams and lotions, that are scent free and hypoallergenic.
Before John arrives for your scheduled house call appointment, we ask that you please secure all pets in another room, away from the space where you will be receiving your massage. Make sure you can provide enough space in the area where you’d like him to setup and work on you, free of tripping or slipping hazards. Please have another adult watching younger children, for the duration of your scheduled appointment.
This will ensure safety for all, and that you receive the best massage possible, without distractions or interruptions.
